These thugs fractured the spine of Sgt Kate Evans, who spoke in court of the medical and emotional trauma she still lives with.
Prison is where they belong.
Unlike Zack Polanski, I want serious consequences for anyone who attacks police officers risking their lives to protect us.

If you can, share these images of the beautiful soul stolen from us by the worst of humanity.
Let his face today burn bright.
Barney, I promise you there will be accountability 💛💚
For You. For Grace. For Ian.
One thing worth bearing in mind amid the Henry Nowak tragedy: Russia actively exploits these moments.
Before the facts are established and before investigations conclude, an online swarm appears. Some are genuine people, of course. People are right to be upset. However, some are activists, some are opportunists chasing clicks, many will be automated or coordinated influence accounts trying to exploit that natural emotion of outrage. The objective is to deepen division and destroy trust.
I’ve noticed my own replies flooded with anonymous accounts pushing highly emotive claims, demanding instant conclusions and attempting to drive outrage. Some will be real people. Many almost certainly are not.
What strikes me as particularly curious is how many of these accounts appear aligned with Reform. That does not mean Reform is involved, nor that Reform supporters are bots. It is deeply strange that they follow the same playbook, however. Hostile states amplify whatever is most likely to increase polarisation, weaken confidence in institutions and pit citizens against one another.
Russian information operations have spent years exploiting contentious issues across Western democracies. Immigration, policing, identity, social cohesion and political distrust are ideal targets because they already generate strong emotions. Funnily enough, it’s also the same playbook Hamas and their allies use.
The family asked for Henry Nowak’s death not to be politicised. Instead, it has become a canvas onto which everyone is projecting their pre-existing beliefs.
The best defence is to stop and pause. Ask why people want you to see the narrative you’re seeing to try and get you riled up and jump to conclusions. Wait for the evidence, let the investigation run its course, and be wary of anyone demanding certainty before the facts are known.
Don’t let yourself be manipulated. When you’re upset is the worst time to draw conclusions.
My recent peer-reviewed paper explains how the psychology of this all works. https://t.co/0dIIF7oPp3
This is the essence of it. Law enforcement were inclined to believe the mob ; rather than help the victim. They were inclined to believe an entire group of people who were coordinated rather than the single, vulnerable, dying individual ; they were inclined to see a gang of people as “the real victims” rather than the victim
It was because the victim couldn’t speak well (he was dying) and could barely move that they targeted him and handcuffed him. It’s bizarre to put the dying, incapacitated person in handcuffs and not listen to him and deny his last words, mocking him for saying he was stabbed; but an entire system had led to this. Years of training not to help the individual, not to assist and to listen to the people standing over him, the perpetrator
Until the system retrains people to protect individuals and protect the vulnerable this will keep happening. In the grooming gang cases the same thing happened. Young girls were dismissed and the masses of older male perpetrators were seen as victims and listened to. There is the case of the recent judge praising the teen rapists in another case, rather than care for the girl victims. It’s always the same pattern of a system that sees the quiet, vulnerable individual as the enemy and prefers the gang
After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries.
Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences.
We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea.
Insane.
Everyone needs to go to the @novaexhibition in London.
I have just been and I am completely shaken by what I saw.
As you walk among the tents, awnings and burnt out cars salvaged from October 7, you’re shown footage from the day, filmed by festival goers and bodycam footage of the Hamas terrorists.
The glee with which they murdered innocent people is vile. There’s no glory in it or justification for it.
As well as the brutality and evil of that day, there are also inspiring messages of hope.
If you really want to understand what happened on October 7 and how it felt, please go.
You will l leave deeply affected by it. But also, somehow, with more hope for humanity.
Can someone explain the logic behind the CPS's latest move?
They’ve just released a major press statement setting out a "prosecutorial approach" and brand new legal guidance on banners and chants specifically ahead of this weekend's 'Unite the Kingdom' rally.
Meanwhile, we have had massive pro-Palestine marches paralyzing central London on a regular basis for months, with plenty of highly questionable banners and slogans on display. Where are the dedicated, high-profile CPS press releases warning those crowds every week?
The double standards from our institutions are becoming impossible to ignore. It’s hard not to look at this and see a textbook definition of selective targeting.
