With new CGMs arriving โ and many not sharing data โ we risk shaking what makes CGM powerful: accuracy & trust.
70% TIR must mean the same across devices.
We need global standards so the CGM data that predicts health today remains true tomorrow.

@triggersbroom17 Sadly there were many before Lyla. My own daughter nearly died 8 years ago after us being dismissed 3 times by gp and me as an "anxious mother". She was admitted with ketones of 12, yes 12! Luckily survived. I was later told GPS don't finger prickn kids as its "not nice".
Iโve just found out been selected to be a nominee for a Quality In Care โThe Peopleโs Awardโ.
I canโt believe it. All Iโm doing is fighting for our daughter and for the Type 1 Diabetes Community, Diagnosed or Undiagnosed. But Iโm honoured to be considered. If Lylaโs Law gains more exposure, Iโm all for it.

@Kes_t1D_SW I know it's stressful seeing numbers but perfection isn't a normal number. It's only because you checked you think 0.1 is an issue. Most people sit around that. Hope you feel better soon x
Loving my new pump but not loving consumables out of stock long term! That's acceptable for a pair of trainers, not what you need to make your insulin pump work ๐ what are @DiabetesScot@DiabetesUK and @ypsomed doing about the supply and demand issues?
@Kes_t1D_SW@Kerr21Kerr@diabetes_chat@DSNforumUK R doesn't get covid vaccine any more though she does still get flu spray at school. Personally think good hands hygiene best way to avoid both.
