Shana Gaviolla is about to go to prison for three years for “trafficking” her son across state lines when she was trying to save his life. She was not given a proper chance to defend herself in court - a biased judge did not allow the jury to hear the reason she went to extreme measures & hired people to extract her son & move him to a place where he could be treated, was that he had sexually molested a very young child & instead of being transitioned & allowed to mentor young kids, he needed help to stop being a child predator. And every child around him, including his younger siblings, needed to be protected. The Trump/Blanche DOJ inherited this case - they did not create this mess but they should help parents who are trapped by the system - a system that protects corrupt prosecutors & a weaponized DOJ. Instead of going after Shana Gaviola, how about prosecuting the FBI agent & prosecutor who texted each other about getting her in bed for a threesome? While they were working the case? How about listening to the father of the young boy her son molested sexually who says his child’s life is still shattered & he will never be the same? Don’t fight battles you did not create - look at the bigger picture. We have never been here before - when parents are confronted by impossible choices, they are called to protect the children who cannot protect themselves & there is no neat playbook for that. Now Shana’s younger children are going to lose their mom for three years. Shame on you all. Fight for parents - not for the system.
