A massive thank you to everyone new and old who participated in our return to rugby today!!!! As much as training is very different looking from last year I would like to thank kids and parents for making today a success. This is week 1 of 6 our introduction to rugby.
Today, for the first time since 20 March - pre lockdown - we have reported a weekday (yesterday) with no registered deaths in Scotland from COVID (number of deaths registered at weekends can be artificially low). This is down to sacrifices everyone has made. Thank you 🙏

Carrick Academy’s recovery plan will have our school community divided into two groups - A and B. Each group will attend school for one full week followed by one full week at home learning. All children will follow their own timetable. Detailed info in the post by Friday.
Plans for August have now been authorised. Children will be split into 2 groups and will access school 2 days per week. Letters will be sent out asap identifying which group your child has been allocated to and which days they will attend. Thank you for your support with this.
If you are running short of stationery to allow you to complete school work, please pick up a free pack from a local store. Packs in McColls, Prestwick; Keystore, Prestwick Toll; Premier Store, Monkton and Symington Stores.
Messy play allows children to create, build, develop their imaginations, explore textures, use their senses and it’s great fun too!
Messy Play is a great way to learn how to make choices and is also great for developing small hand muscles 🙋♀️🎨🖌️🖍️

Many thanks to one of our local supermarkets who kindly donated some easter eggs to local officers as a thank you for their hard work over the last few weeks dealing with the Corana Virus outbreak. Some very happy officers tonight! 🐣 #teameffort#communityspirit
