I still hold my regard for AJS but this is an erroneous hyper-grace doctrine. Romans 7: 24 describes our wretchedness before Christ found us. If you don't recognize the depth of your depravity in your sinful state, you cannot appreciate the enormity of Christ's sacrifice for you.

Sin is the enemy of God.

To be at peace with sin is to be at war with God. To love your sin is to hate God.

We must beware of people and organisations and things that make us to love our sins or be at peace with sin.

Such people just want to destroy us and exclude us from God.

"Have you commanded your morning?"

A brother asked me about this yesterday and I felt to share here too.

That statement in Job 38:12 is not God telling you that you have the power to command your morning.

It was God reminding Job that Job has no power and therefore no authority to question Him.

God was dressing job down and putting him in his place. That verse was a question which MEANS the OPPOSITE OF WHAT IT'S BEING USED FOR today.

So what happened was that Job was complaining about his trials and started questioning God because he felt he was a righteous man. And God confirmed it sef. So job was perplexed because he didn't understand why a righteous man would suffer so much.

He thought suffering was for only bad people. LOL (that is talk for another day)

So Job started questioning God. God now said "ehen. You dey question me?"

So see how God's response to job started.

Job 38:1-3
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
“Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
Dress for action like a man;
I WILL QUESTION YOU, and you make it known to me.

That's how God started asking job questions. Job explain tire no evidence.

Job 38:4
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell me, if you have understanding.

Job no get explanation.

And that's how God got to this verse.

Job 38:12-13
“HAVE YOU COMMANDED THE MORNING SINCE YOUR DAYS BEGAN,
and caused the dawn to know its place,
that it might take hold of the skirts of the earth,
and the wicked be shaken out of it?

God asked job if he has ever been able to make a day start in his life.

God asked Job many other questions like that.

Job 38:17-18
Have the gates of death been revealed to you,
or have you seen the gates of deep darkness?
Have you comprehended the expanse of the earth?
Declare, if you know all this.

God asked Job questions for two whole chapters. Job no get answer.

At the end job just said...

Job 40:3-5
Then Job answered the LORD and said:
“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you?
I lay my hand on my mouth.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer;
twice, but I will proceed no further.”

😂😂

So job said, "God abeg. I no get answer. No vex."

God now said... "I never even finish."

God now started asking question again for another 2 chapters.

It's a very interesting conversation between man and God. Read the book of job if you haven't.

CONCLUSION

"Command your morning" is not a proof text that the power of your mouth can decree and shape reality.

God makes it clear that it is He who shapes reality. Not you.

Jeremiah says it well.

Lamentations 3:37
Who has spoken and it came to pass,
unless the Lord has commanded it?

Therefore, our faith is not an inherent ability to shape reality. Our faith is trust in the One who shapes reality.

Faith is trusting in God's love and wisdom that His answers are always best.

Faith is not saying you must have your way. Faith says God must have His way.

Therefore, you cannot command any morning. God said it's He who does.

He literally told Job through rhetoric... YOU CANNOT COMMAND THE MORNING. ONLY I CAN.

So have biblical faith in God who saves us. Don't have faith in your prayer, your confession or ability to hold a consistent confession.

Your faith is in God!!

Reject new age mysticism pretending as faith.
