🌊 We are delighted to see our Beach Lifeguard teams resuming duty at 12 County Cork beaches this Saturday, 31st of May from 10:30am - 7:00pm.
🗓️ Our Beach Lifeguard service will operate each weekend in June, seven days a week in July and August, and the first two weekends in September.
🏖️ The lifeguarded beaches are Front Strand, Claycastle and Redbarn in Youghal, Garryvoe, Fountainstown, Inchydoney, Owenahincha, The Warren, Garrylucas, Garretstown, Tragumna and Barleycove.
🚩 Don't forget the Water Safety Flag system;
● A red over yellow flag means the lifeguards are on duty.
● Swim between the red and yellow flags close and parallel to the shore as this is the area that the lifeguards are patrolling.
● A red flag indicates that swimming is not advised.
● Black and white chequered flags mark the area for surfing only.
● No flag means no Lifeguard Service.

We're excited to continue our work in Carrigaline & welcome new volunteers! Tidy Towns is about more than just picking up litter; it’s about beautifying our community and creating a healthier lifestyle.

Speed limits on many rural local roads have been reduced from 80 to 60km/h.
Going slower significantly reduces the risk of death in a collision.

Laghdaíodh an luasteorainn ar go leor bóithre tuaithe áitiúla ó 80 go 60 cm/u.
Nuair a laghdaítear luas, laghdaítear an baol báis go mór i gcás timpiste bhóthair.
