@SgtPepper944@SpotterBrett Also streaming services like Paramount and others have been operating in the red. NETFLIX is the exception. You can now get Direct tv for less than YouTube tv now.
@SgtPepper944@SpotterBrett You have to take into consideration of the next NFL contract. Which has College Football conferences scrambling to find the next check. NFL is planning on spreading across the streaming services more moving to NETFLIX and YouTube. And everyone else is expected to pay more.
@SgtPepper944@SpotterBrett Amazon, holds all the power fans want Amazon. Next TV deal Amazon can low ball 1 billion over 7 years. Fans would be happy races pursue goes from 11 mil a race to just over a 1 but teams can fire people and reduce driver salaries.
I know they are old bricks and I know they want them to look good and not potentially be damaged by a burnout and I know there are people who care about this place with all their hearts and feel the sacredness of the bricks ... But I just don't get worked up over this. At all.
@BrakeHardBlog It’s really not that big of a deal. It’s 2026 and old people get emotional over stupid shit. I’m not putting my cart away, I will door ding your shit, I’m not talking my shoes off and it’s grass who cares if my dog shit in it.
@MambaSmith34@SpireMotorsport I just don’t think people realize just how much money Mark Walter and Thomas Tull have. They could burn Rick Hendrick’s money and still be worth 10 billion between them. So yes they have came a long ways.
@TobyChristie@BiggelsTV@TheRaacingLine As long as NASCAR is partnered with tv deals, what fans want will always come second. And with NASCAR being the 3rd most average watched sports only behind NFL and College Football. The tv deal will dictate what happens if they want longer it will happen.
@BrakeHardBlog Alex Bowman not wanting to race past the age of 35. Seems to be better received than Larson saying he wants to leave NASCAR around the age of 40. To do a full World of Outlaw season.
