@wifieatscheese In my home state of Louisiana, which is quite red, a lot of people are moving out of the blue areas (New Orleans especially). Also, people forget that California was a deep red until the 90s. Now it’s a deep blue, and people are fleeing in droves.

@wifieatscheese You are correct in that regard that most states with major population centers are blue states. However, there is mass exoduses from those blue states to a lot of those red states. States being wildly different politically isn’t anything new, however.

I really need people to stop downplaying this SCOTUS immunity decision.

This isn’t a small matter. It’s a big fucking deal. Like, a potentially Republic-defining big fucking deal.

The GOP should be just as outraged — because this shit applies to Dem POTUS as well — but they’re too busy owning the libs to think about the consequences.

We’ve always lived by the idea that nobody is above the law.

This decision changes that; this decision fundamentally alters our system of government. Now, nobody is above the law except for the most powerful person on the planet.

If only there were a word for that.
