@ThickCalvesSage @tbventhusiast Kind of like Australia, they have stricter gun control with significantly fewer gun-based homicides, mass shootings, and suicides. But plenty of people still have guns but they are registered.
@ThickCalvesSage @tbventhusiast I agree we do need guns. I simply propose we need to make it more difficult to obtain them. Tighter background checks, more legislation, etc. If you are law abiding citizen, who plans on using guns simply for defensive purposes, you should have no issue with this.
@ThickCalvesSage @tbventhusiast He was quoted as saying that some sacrifices were unfortunately necessary to maintain our 2nd amendment rights. He became that very sacrifice that he condoned. Karma and Energy are real. Nothing like this is "deserved" but you can't put Energy like that out and expect nothing.
@ThickCalvesSage @tbventhusiast Also lets not act like Kirk "just had different opinions" he purposely lectured at colleges to socialize his statistically wrong claims. He was also openly racist, sexist, xenophobic, and continually dismissed tragedies. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword.
@ThickCalvesSage @tbventhusiast I agree, but I find it odd the huge outcry this gets from far conservative channels in comparison to other tragedies. Trump will praise Kirk and yet doesn't shed a tear for our fallen veterans who actually contributed to our society.
@RachelBitecofer Children slaughter by the dozen each year but then their glorious spokesperson is killed AMD NOW IT'S WAR?? This goes for the far left too, to be so against gun violence and then be happy about gun deaths when it's someone you disagree with. The hypocrisy has to be studied.
@Alphafox78 Everything you said is true, but at the end of the day he was shot in a red state. One of the most red states in the country. Condolences to his family and friends but at the end of the day he spoke his own death into existence. He became the very sacrifice that he condoned.
@NoodlesKage Don't condone anything like that but we have to acknowledge the hypocrisy. Far right-wingers only care about gun deaths when it's one of their own. Where was this outrage when dozens of children or slaughtered in schools? Or people's heads are smashed by Gaza?
