@LIVGroup continue to chase residents for their service charge+fees &threatening demands. Even tho they’ve sold up, moved out & haven’t been legal owners since well before their next set of service charge. Everything we’d expect from a ‘managing’ agent. Useless @michaelgove
And therein lies the problem from someone who knows. The Government must do more and it should raise the tax on developers and house builders. @LeedsCladding@ukcag@LKPleasehold
@JSimpsonjourno@JakeEllis I’m so sorry to see this! @michaelgove you must know these sums are criminal. We’re just waiting for the announcement from the company set up to offer cladding loans…at 1246%…whose MD went to school with the PM #wonga#wouldntbesurprised
A govt spokesman said:"Our £5 billion investment to remove unsafe cladding strikes the right balance between protecting leaseholders and being fair to taxpayer" I'm losing £40,000. Is that the right balance? Others are losing £200,000. #CrockOfShit
🤯 This is a shocking letter from @homes4haringey@haringeycouncil
On what planet do you think it's possible for the average Londoner to find £108,000 to pay a service charge bill within 30 days?
@city_fitty Same but who will buy without leasehold reform, or rather who will buy at a fair market price when the market is flooded with all the flats we’re so desperate to shift 🤷🏻♀️
'My home is so unsafe it will need to be demolished and rebuilt floor by floor while we get evacuated.'
@mhclg@GOVUK why are you forcing the innocent party in this scandal to pay?

LBC's consumer law expert Dean Dunham vows to get behind leaseholders affected by the cladding scandal and to get Government to 'put its hand in its pocket' to support victims.
@deandunham | #CladdingScandal
It is so sad that the gov strategy is paying off - devise a half-baked solution to the #BuildingSafetyCrisis to get rebel MPs to back down. @RichardGrahamUK and @AndrewSelous why are you no longer supporting @SMcPartland amendment? Gov measures change nothing for most of us :(
@cyncopelandLIVE@Beverle82823781@BorisJohnson@RishiSunak@RobertJenrick@EOCS_Official Them?! I think the source at Whitehall needs reminding that ‘them’ are the professionals, graduates, solicitors, NHS workers, parents & human beings that every day contribute in work & tax to this bloody country. Them is the backbone of society and you’re crushing us.
Stop using the term 'repairs'
Repairs falls under the guise of maintenance, which LHs cover as per lease
Our buildings haven't deteriorated
They should never have been built as they have!
It's 'remedial work' & should fall under building safety; usually FHs responsibility
"I do not see how hostages are my problem. They bought a property in the hope of one day joining the 33,000 millionaires. It has gone wrong. Caveat emptor & all that"
Wow just wow 🙈
#EndOurCladdingScandal
The Government is treating cladding victims with contempt: “if you give them an inch, they’ll want a mile”. I don’t want a mile, I just want to sleep safely at night in the flat I saved years for to buy @RobertJenrick@RishiSunak . #EndOurCladdingScandal https://t.co/Yfvu59ZICD
There will be a long legal battle over who is responsible for the cladding faults and in the meantime Flat owners need immediate support... Govt support then reclaim from those culpable. #bbcqt
When property developers call for a levy on property developers to pay for cladding, it's time to put a levy on property developers. It's that simple @RobertJenrick@RishiSunak#EndOurCladdingScandal
Thanks @MilesDilworth & @DailyMailUK for pushing this

This is exactly what leaseholders are worried about. “Unaffordable”?! As far as my constituents are concerned they’ve already had to make payments for waking watches and insurance bills that they can’t afford. They shouldn’t have to pay a penny more.
