@birrms_ @tomstakes Most teams would be in trouble if they lose any of their top 3 players. You value Maye much more than Hurts. I get that. But I have seen teams challenge Hurts to beat them with his arm many times and he’s responded. He doesn’t need to be MVP-he needs to run a competent offense

@birrms_ @tomstakes Eagles could also see a great season if their O line returns to full health and the just dominate through the run game and on D. I’m skeptical that the O line will get back to where they were but I don’t Hurts needs to put up MVP numbers for the Eagles to win 11-13 games.

@birrms_ @tomstakes Deep ball accuracy as a predictor of wins/losses seems a little cherry picked to me. And Eagles D gave up 0.3 points and 19 yards per game more than Pats. With a tougher schedule. Where’s the huge gap? Hurts’ O-line ranked 7th. Maye’s 11th. Again - not seeing huge gaps.

@birrms_ @tomstakes Meh. Seems a little cherry-picky, but fair enough. You could also say Maye had a LOT of things break right for him last year too. Will be interesting to see what he does with AJ. FWIW, Vegas has Philly o/u wins at 10.5, NE at 9.5. But that’s why they play the games…
