In 1968 Finland banned for profit education, the few private schools that exist in Finland have to reinvest any profit they make or pay it back to parents.

It has been in the Top 3 in education for the last 20 years.

There should be no profit in education or healthcare.

I am sure the schools could ensure that a few staff members also have this training (can do it in a 5 day course). Outrageous that @VSB39 is stonewalling this life saving device from schools

@InspiredAquaCA My son was swabbed at his GP office after having fevers of 39.7 for a week straight and other significant symptoms. It was a mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. He took a long time to recover and now is still coughing. Then I got sick assuming the same bug, and then my younger son.

@lithohedron I couldn't even ask them about it. It was our Thanksgiving dinner. I sat there stunned and in shock and extremely disappointed. I believe they don't even truly know who and what they voted for. 😩

@lithohedron Most of my family who would have previously voted NDP have sadly now voted for the Conservatives because they "need a change". They don't even seem to really care about what John Rustad's plan or beliefs are. A different government was all that mattered 🫤

@bchydro Customer service advised me just now that you have not cancelled the outage tomorrow. The temp tomorrow will be up to 28 degrees which puts it far above the seasonal high average of 21.5 degrees. This is not in the best interest of public safety. My house is 34 degrees WITH fans

@bchydro are you still planning the power outage July 10th affecting 319 customers from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Seems awful to cut power coming off of a heat dome when we won't able to even run a fan all day. How is that safe for the public?

@VSB39 School to be open almost 20 years after the Olympics and promises of a school made to local families. Those same families will have high schoolers and university aged children by the time the elementary school opens.
