@wilnerhotline How many higher ranked teams have to lose to lower ranked teams for us to realize the ranking system is stupid? If the ranking system is flawed then the only thing that makes sense is an expanded playoff to find a true champion.
@schadjoe How many times does a higher ranked team have to lose to a lower ranked team to realize rankings are stupid? And if they are stupid and we have no idea who is better, then a larger playoff makes sense?
@JakeCrain_ Obviously it has to be feasible. That’s a ridiculous suggestion. We need a playoff that’s big enough to ensure everyone with a chance to win is in and small enough that it’s playable. I’d say 24 meets those tests.
@MPFB_Prediction With 136 teams playing in different conferences, there’s no way to prove anything. I’ve been watching college football for 40 years and the only thing I’ve hated about it is that teams are ranked by eye test. We just had the number 1 team beaten by an unranked team.
@NickKayal It’s not about all 24 teams having a realistic chance to win. It’s about having teams with a realistic chance to win actually being in the playoffs. Those are two very different things.
@Cuse_Orange153@ChrisNanoSports You are only proving the point. Everyone could see Arch was ass. But poll voters want Texas to be back. So they have voted them number 1 two years in a row just to watch them fall. That’s why voting is dumb. Let them play it out in a big playoff.
