Health Update: Stem Cell Transplant
I had a doctor appointment last Wednesday. He loved the results and asked when will i be ready and i told him i am now but i need time since it costs around $100k which i don’t have. So he did few calls and he managed to get the health ministry to cover the WHOLE thing!
I spent the last 3 days in the hospital where they managed to collect enough cells to freeze for the transplant in the most brutal process ever
Now i’m back home recovering and taking my prescribed meds, and i have another appointment on Monday so he can check everything and tell me when i’m gonna start the isolation phase
During the isolation phase they will nuke my whole immune system with chemo for 6 consecutive days and then inject the frozen cells they took. They told me the process should take 23 days
Will keep you guys updated through every phase with all the details as usual
Will forever be grateful and thankful for the endless support ❤️
Health Update: Back Home!
I wanted to post more updates during the procedure but i was barely making it through each day
21 days in the hospital:
- 2 days of tests plus central line installement
- 6 days of intensive chemo
- 1 day of “rest”
- 1 day of cells transplant (Day 0)
- 4 days of having zero immunity
- 4 days of daily improvement
- 2 days to make sure the nbrs are stable
- 1 day central line removal and discharge
Now awaits a month of blood tests each monday and thursday, 8 daily meds, extreme health precautions at home, a dr appointment on Oct 19th, a PET scan on Oct 30th and a second dr appointment on Nov 4th
I’ll rest, take a good care of my health and sart my recovery phase, and i promise you’ll see me pop on your feed more often now ❤️
Thank you if you reached this far, i love you so much and i appreciate you being on this journey with me. Now let’s kill it on this final stretch
Health update: Chemo and Central Line Procedure
They installed a central line 10min ago that goes into a thick vein in the neck for chemo/cell transplant/blood draws …
Horrific procedure and a terrible experience but it’s a step forward so i can’t complain
Also started taking Chemo meds yesterday and today is called Day -6. Day 0 is the day of the cell transplant
Will keep you guys updated. Keep me in your prayers 🫶🏼
Casper out.

Tom Cruise says the rumors about how intensely he works are true
“People that work with me, they know I expect a lot and I'm upfront about it. It's like, the rumors are true and do you want this?”
Zach Baron: “But do you say that?”
Tom: “Yes. If we're there, I'm like, trust me, the rumors are true. I'll be here before you”
“What experience do you want? And I'm very open and it's not like we don't have a plan. We have scripts. We have plans. We're going through it, but I also feel the level of responsibility for everyone”
Zach: “Do you feel like you're understood when you say this stuff, that people get it?”
Tom: “There's things that I didn't say for many years. I know the people I work with, we all kind of feel the same thing. We want to do well. We want to understand why do things work? Why don't they work?”
“When you start doing something, I'm an all in kind of guy, Zach. I don't know what to say. Life, I'm coming right at it. It's coming at me and I'm coming right at it. I'm 100%. I am not a halfway kind of person”
Tom Cruise says he jumped off a roof at four years old after making a parachute out of his bedsheets
“Zach, that's exactly it. I want to say in its simplicity, to me, and it's always been that's life. Now, I want to train so I can open the parachute. You know what I mean?”
“When I was a kid, I took the monkey bars, I pulled it over and my mom was in the thing and I had this GI Joe. You know, you throw it up. I've told this story before”
“A parachute goes down, ripped the sheets off my bed, took ropes, and I climb the monkey bar, climb up on the roof, climb up on the high bar, and I jumped off”
“Didn't work, so you want to go, at that moment, I remember I was about four years old. I was like, there's something more to this than this”
“Went back, looked at my GI Joe. I was like, okay, I don't understand this, but I'm not doing that again, but I'm going to figure it out one day”
Zach Baron: “And you did”
Tom Cruise says he does not fear death after riding motorcycles off cliffs and hanging from airplanes
Zach Baron: “You have literally ridden a motorcycle off the edge of a cliff, and then deployed a parachute. You've hung off the side of multiple different styles of airplane. My question to you is, do you fear death?”
Tom: “Look, I think you could look at my life and go, I like standing on the edge of a cliff physically and metaphorically, meaning I look at life as an adventure and I always have”
“I want to understand people. I want to understand life and cultures and if I wonder what are those people? How do they feel? Do they think the way I do? Do they laugh at the same thing? How do I connect with them?”
Zach: “I asked if you feared death. I mean, I do think that mortality has become, particularly in the ‘Mission’ films, I think audiences are actually watching to see, like, is this guy going to be okay?”
Tom: “But here's the thing, how do we use these tools to create an emotional effect on an audience and is it communicating what we want to communicate? So do I fear death? No, I don't”
“It's not like I'm not afraid. I don't mind the feeling. I understand life has certainties and uncertainties and in making movies and living life, what interests me is, let's move the uncertainties more into the certainties, but I want to create other uncertainties so that we're moving forward and it's part of the adventure of it”
