My best guess at KH4’s structure:
*Prologue: 3-5 hrs in Quadratum
*Donald + Goofy visit Hades, get sent to Quadratum
*SDG reunite, travel to Disney worlds looking for a way home for Sora
*Sora + Riku reunion: 50% mark or climax
*Sora + Kairi reunion: climax or ending of KH4 (1/2)

The thing about Kingdom Hearts is that if you didn't get on the train in the 00's, then you simply are left behind. It is too corny to work without the context of operating in a world of myspace-era truthisms, and its thrills can be found in other franchises with less homework.

@SpanCosplay Then Hades sends in Donald and Goofy, this might seem like a light hearted turn, but upon seeing the costume characters they assume that the characters are imposters, so Donald and Goofy slaughter them all, leaving many children crying as Sora leaves with them
