Well, they'll pull out anyway because liberals in Washington State are brain damaged. They've already torn out other dams that caused immense damage to fisheries due all the silt & debris that scrubbed & sterilized the river beds. It'll take over 10 years for those rivers yo recover.

"Oh, Alexa, turn up the heat", or "Alexa, start the washing machine"..... ??? Modern living is becoming more "connected" every year. Why is anyone surprised that it can be sabotaged?

Everybody I have talked to that "were" hard core Vegas fans have said they are done with the place. Never going back! They all say it's not the same. Too expensive. Nickle & dime you to death & nothing is fun anymore. The original business model has been dumped & Vegas has lost its mojo. Finished!

@QAscension347 Not sure how well that will work out for Canada. They are at a freight disadvantage to trade with European & Asian countries compared to USA. Time will tell I suppose. Lots of luck.

What don't people understand? SS is a retirement plan. It was designed & sold as a required deduction from everyone's paycheck, to be saved for you & distributed on a monthly basis when you retired. It's YOUR money, deducted from YOUR paycheck! It is NOT a tax!! Everyone, regardless of how successful they are, is entitled to THEIR money + interest. Think of it as a sort of annuity. Would you want the Government to sudden confiscate your personal Annuity? NO.

Collected SS money was supposed to be invested for YOU in safe vehicles, like T-Bills. The Compound return through the years was designed to finance it.

It is no individuals fault that the Government in its greed, saw that pile of $$$ adding up through the years, & stole it to use for their wars & socialist programs. They left IOUs which they don't have the money to pay back now. Why should they get a pass?

We don't get to walk on our debits, so why should they!!

Another example of communism fails when you run out of other people's $$$. They want YOUR money to line their own pockets! Don't fall for it!!
