We are wild about wildlife & these beautiful cards by artist Jane Smith celebrate some of our favourite woodland creatures!
They are available on our website, where all purchases support our work restoring nature for the benefit of people and wildlife: https://t.co/n4KpYBbScJ
Another mighty yew.
The Dryburgh Abbey Yew, in the Scottish Borders. The story goes that it was planted by monks in 1136, and who am I to argue with the story. Or the monks.

An important new measure comes into force on the 1st Oct creating more resilient forests of the future.
The max of any one tree species will be limited to 65% in all new & existing woodlands across the country.

🦅🦅🦅 We are lucky enough to catch glimpses of the birds from the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project soaring across our sites in the Southern Uplands. A fantastic project, please support if you can!
A huge thanks to @ScotlandTBP for organising an inspiring conference and creating a day filled with hope for nature recovery.

No Fulmars! We have been monitoring Canna annually since 1969. This is the first time we have had a zero count for Fulmar. Their numbers peaked at 671 occupied sites in 1992.

Hugely impressed by our foggy visit to Carrifran Wildwood @BordersForest. Magnificent and magical ecological restoration. Welcoming, educational and good footpath accessibility. Features of human ecology (old stone walls) conserved. And the locals we asked, unreservedly positive.
