A year has passed since graduating from @UoC_TNA_TAP and although I do have a PIN and stayed on the bank with school nursing I went in a completely different direction into children's residential where I'm a deputy manager of a children's home and so happy I did!
@mansfieldloynes@UoC_TNA_TAP Thankyou! After failing 4001 for missing a learning outcome, I didn't expect to get through the next two years with a distinction! I'm very chuffed βΊοΈπ
When you're going through work emails and find a shout out on the communications emails sent out to the whole trust π₯°
Honestly so glad I made the move into this team! They are always cheering me on and showing me lots of support! π₯°

The end is near! And I'm not ready!
In 63 days everything will have been submitted & In 106 days I will (hopefully) have a degree and get the pleasure of paying for a PIN so I can do my job π

Feeling quite pleased with myself , 3 months into my job I was asked to organise our part in a 2 week event delivering education around mental health to year 6 children across Cheshire east.
Today was the launch and went successfully π here is our set up

Day 5 in my new job which is a completely new role & I can't believe I've just delivered half of a presentation to 3 year groups of about 100-150 per year in a highschool & I've managed to action my first referral today too π

It's all real now..
I'm ready to get stuck in & proud that I put myself out there & going for a qualified post, passing the interview for the qualified post & having them agree to take me on full time to complete my training, followed by a permanent post as an RNAπ
That is my last clinical shift completed on the medical ward as my base as I move on to paeds community to complete my training and work with the health visitors and school nurses as an RNA, the nerves are there now but so is the excitement βΊοΈ
