#DCIM353McCormick I enjoyed reading everyone's presentations and I really enjoyed this class! While I took this class for a core requirement and was worried I wouldn't enjoy it at first, I can truly say that I learned a lot in this course and had a great time!
@nataliefataru This is a very inventive prediction! I would have never thought of this idea, but it is so smart! I am sure that in the future we will have technology that will be able to predict many health issues, not just seizures, as well!
@KatherineHalic1 I agree with your prediciton! I think that social media will only continue to become more influential. Hopefully, we will find ways to create less toxic environments online for social media users as well.
@b_neirotti I also agree that AI is going to create a large shift in the job market! It has already taken over many jobs, and I agree that it will only continue to grow. #DCIM353McCormick
#DCIM353McCormick I believe that in the future AI will be much more widespread and will eventually lead to a large decrease in many jobs, especially since many jobs are already currently being replaced by AI.
@krishna_dcim This is such a great choice! I'm doing social media in general, but I'm sure there will be a very large portion dedicated to Tik Tok! I, myself, waste WAY too many hours on that app. I am very interested to see how it has impacted our society.
@gentblaku I'm going to be doing social media as well! I'm especially interested in how it has impacted the way we interact with each other as a society and how it has impacted our society's mental health.
@KeiraCollazo This is such a great idea for the EDTP! The iPhone has definitely changed the way society functions. I would be interested to see if there is any difference in phone interaction and use for people who have iPhones versus Androids...
#DCIM353McCormick My EDTP project is going to be on Social Media. I feel like social media has greatly impacted our society, and I am looking forward to specifically researching how it has affected society's mental health and relationships!
@cathyDCIM #DCIM353McCormick Social media and cell phones have definitely given society access to anyone and everyone's lives at any point in time. People have become addicted to updating their social media accounts to share what is going on in their lives. It is pretty crazy to me!
@class_lee I can't even remember a time when I didn't rely mostly on online shopping! This change is definitely disruptive and has changed a lot of aspects of our society. It's pretty rare nowadays for people to buy their goods entirely in stores.
@nataliefataru I agree. Teens (and adults, for that matter) feel more comfortable interacting online through social media platforms. I think that many times people discuss or share things online that they would not necessarily feel comfortable discussing face to face.
@KatherineHalic1 I think online dating has allowed people to be less genuine when it comes to their personalities. I feel like, at least in my experience, online dating can't replace organic relationships. I feel like this technology would be disruptive. #DCIM353McCormick

Video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Skype, and Facetime have radically changed the way we interact online, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. https://t.co/LYkpUMHcEk
