Speaking of doing lots of observational work on cats, here is a snazzy new paper we wrote about using collar cameras to spy on them 🐱🎥 #catcam#catscience#behaviouralbiology#science https://t.co/qQl72lBSkB
Last week I had a migraine coinciding with thunderstorms, same again this week. I started to think that I was “pseudosciencing” myself, but the NHS says not! https://t.co/zo5f3PZxzA. It’s interesting, but it sucks haha.
I’m now daydreaming that Rowdy doesn’t have an owner, and I can build them a lovely shelter in my front yard. However, I know this cat would like to live in a home tbh. Such a tart!
Feel bad for a neighbour who posted “does anyone know this cat”. They’ve tapped my special interest button - Rowdy Legs. I’ve never been sure if they are owned, but they are a lovely, resourceful, ball of fun. Sorry for the essay, neighbours! Offered to help figure out, though.
This is a classic 'look at this cat' tweet. I cannot believe that this perfect golden oldie hasn't been snapped up already. She sounds so sassy and characterful 🥰 https://t.co/G7wyQ4pVvR
Really looking forward to @lilita_yaya new book, and really happy to see this nice excerpt in The Guardian. I recommend Doggie Language so often that I wish I got commission! What a lovely way she has with clearly explaining animal communication. #cats
@PeterJDShergold @CatsProtection @ManchesterCats Oh my, I’d frame this one, terrific quote. I really enjoy this magazine! The recent @kimjoyskitchen feature was a delightful. Any chance of @RealBobMortimer doing a regular column?
Rudely awoken at 5am by battering rams, helicopter, road blocks and lots of armed police, and a neighbour was taken away. Any word on what happened in Hulme (Bentley Estate) @MENnewsdesk? I don’t think it was related to the stabbings.
This a reminder that ALL owned cats in England will legally need to be microchipped from 10th June next year. That time will fly by, especially with vets so busy. Do check with your local catty charity if you need support, as some may be able to assist.
Would anybody like to read a story about a cat and the @ADCH_News conference?
I’m going to tell you one. Brace yourselves! Credit in advance to @BleakholtUK for summarising on their FB :3
This is where the magic happened! I’m summarising it using @BleakholtUK’s FB post, but it was just the BEST outcome. I’m so happy that this wonderful little chap was reunited with his owner.
.@UKHomeOffice admits changing rules to allow testing on animals for cosmetics - is this why @biztradegovuk allows in Australian cosmetics tested on animals? https://t.co/lw919XzTiZ
.. acid house scene is fondly celebrated now, when at the time, it was a real moral panic situation. Anyway, excited that I’ll have an excuse to sample this edition of the gin. If you are ever nearby, HIGHLY recommend their bar (invite me!) https://t.co/GtZ1LsTx2D
I’m visiting a northern emigrant pal on my trip to our office in West Sussex this month. I was thinking about which delicacy to take with me, and decided on some @MCR_Gin because it is the best, and super local to our house. It got me thinking how funny it is that the..
My colleagues are looking for folk to complete a survey on the use of animals in entertainment. Please can you consider completing it? https://t.co/pGpPbPcpl5
