Here's another example of the psy-op in action - this time from the "Hamas" Wikipedia article.
After a marginal increase immediately after October 7, terrorism-related language dropped by 70% in a single systematic purge in mid-2024 - around the same time when the "Zionism" article was being most aggressively rewritten.
Whitewashing Hamas while demonizing Israel/Zionism - two prongs of the same influence campaign.
This is inversion so callous it's hard to believe.
The Holocaust had a survival rate of about 30%. Millions of people disappeared from European cities and towns over several years. Everybody knew because it was happening all around them.
Gaza has a survival rate, despite the worst and most deadly and horrible periods of the war, of 97%.
All the dead Jews were noncombatants. A large percentage of the dead Gazans were combatants.
And the Jews of Europe, even as their millennia-old civilization was being systematically wiped out, wanted nothing from the societies that surrounded them except to be allowed to live in peace.
Gaza's leadership of religious fanatics, meanwhile, wants every last Israeli dead and gone, is willing to fight to the last Gazan to achieve that aim, has said so publicly and worked for decades to blow up every peace attempt -- and even now believes that Gaza's destruction would be a worthwhile sacrifice to lay on the altar of Israel's destruction, because their god told them so.
So Israelis can reasonably believe, given those features of the Gaza war that aren't true about any genocide ever, and were pretty much the opposite of what was happening in the Holocaust, that Gaza's suffering is a bad and painful war, but not remotely a genocide.
But the point of it all, of course, is not to analyze Gaza, but specifically to lump it together with the Holocaust -- to cast the Jews as the new Nazis.
The only reason this person would dare to make such an insanely ahistorical and immoral parallel is because this is the heart of the bigoted propaganda campaign in which he enthusiastically participates: The point of it all is to make the Jews into the Nazis.
A culture that obsessed about Jews being evil and was then shocked by the Holocaust into obsessing about dead Jews as the apotheosis of righteous victimhood is now obsessively engaged in knocking Jews off that moral pedestal they themselves put them on.
That's why they don't care one whit about Hamas massacres of Gazans, about genocidal wars in Syria or Yemen (even when they've funded and armed the sides), about flotilla activists currently held by the Libyans...literally nothing triggers a response except Jews.
They still, even after all these generations, no matter what else is happening in the world or in their own societies, can't stop thinking about Jews.
And as we Jews learned in the 1940s -- the actual, historical 1940s, not the weird fantasies conjured up by these bigots -- a whole society can be in the grip of a callous, destructive bigotry and still believe it is true and righteous.
Eitan importantly points out many methodological failures in the Secretary General’s report.
As someone who has studied these reports for 20 years and written dozens of analyses of them, this latest report is not an aberration.
The UN claims they engage in extensive verification and documentation processes and this is simply not the case.
The UN does not have the resources to do so.
Most of the work consists of copying and pasting unverified NGO claims that get recycled by other NGOs and UN bodies.
This recycled yet unverified info is then considered “corroboration” of the original claim.
Data is also selectively chosen so that Palestinian claims are frequently double or triple counted while violations against Israelis or violations by Palestinians against other Palestinians are either grossly undercounted or not investigated at all.
Often the UN will use the excuse that they didn’t have access to info but the truth is that almost no NGOs or UN agencies look at these cases, thereby skewing the analysis.
Another huge failing is also inconsistent definitions- the UN will invent new definitions or interpret a term as broadly as possible solely in the case of Israel to inflate the number of alleged Israeli violations. It happens all the time and the UN refuses to be transparent about any of it.
You are unlikely to win any arguments by quoting US intelligence assessments about Iran’s nuclear weapons program, which are fundamentally based on a deeply flawed 2007 NIE. I would suggest you read our work, since you think it is limited to satellite imagery analysis or facilities from twenty years ago. I interact with a host of intelligence agencies and debate with them. I learned long ago not to quote any one of them blindly.
The point is that Iran’s nuclear weapons after 2003 was a preparatory program, as, for example, evidenced in the first half of 2025 of Iran turning most of its 20% enriched uranium into 60 percent and accelerated nuclear weapons work. The latter was acknowledged by the IC, but the rush to make 60% could not even be combined into the official, unclassified IC assessment, except as a parallel concern. Yet, it is at the heart of Iran’s nuclear weapon program, to shrink timeframes and be ready. The flaw in your view is that you are looking for a traditional nuclear weapons program, not the one Iran pursued since 2003. This is also the mistake in the NIE, to treat Iran’s nuclear weapons program like a light switch. By the way, since you quote US IC assessments so freely, you must know that German, British, and I think French intelligence dissented with the US on the 2007 NIE that Iran’s nuclear weapons program ended in 2003.
Prior to June 2025, Iran was able to build a nuclear weapon within months, if a decision was given to do so. The crash nuclear weapons pathway was increasingly seen as the more threatening and likely one as tensions worsened. Moreover, it was getting more difficult to tell whether Iran was just further shortening timeframes or had decided to build one.
And your crack is silly about the sites we monitor being related to a future effort rather than what they are, namely part of assessing damage to the existing nuclear weapons program. You should try it sometime rather than constructing a false narrative about the status of Iran’s nuclear weapons program prior to the war.
still not quite over the fact that i watched 15 year olds get sued for millions of dollars for downloading twelve songs and now we all have to accept AI slop because every tech company in the known universe decided that IP laws don't exist now that they're inconvenient for them
This is a devious rhetorical trick. Labeling someone a “Nakba survivor” is designed to evoke instant sympathy and a false sense of moral clarity, but it is little more than taxpayer-funded propaganda.
Consider the absurdity: roughly 99% of Palestinian Arabs alive in 1949 survived the war and its displacements. Calling the displaced a “survivor” stretches the word beyond recognition. It is a newly coined term, crafted in academia and activist circles long after the events.
Its real genius lies in creating false equivalence. It places ordinary Palestinian civilians who were displaced amid a war their own leaders launched on the same moral plane as Holocaust survivors (of whom only about one-third emerged alive).
It airbrushes away the ~6,000 Jews killed in 1948, elevates the ~12,000 Arab deaths, and erases the thousands of Jews forcibly expelled from the Old City of Jerusalem and other areas.
By anointing the displaced as sacred “survivors,” the term invites us to forget that the Nazi-aligned Palestinian leadership rejected the UN partition plan, chose war to prevent any Jewish state, and promised quick victory while urging Arabs to flee.
It glosses over Israel’s Declaration of Independence, which explicitly invited Arab inhabitants to “participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship.” And it conveniently overlooks the ~150,000 Arabs who stayed put, accepted Israeli citizenship, and whose descendants now form over 20% of Israel’s population.
This is international grievance politics pushed by the Mayor of New York City, who genuinely believes that Palestinians should be able to “return to their homes” – a nonsensical idea designed to justify perpetual victimhood and violence.
The move weaponizes real civilian hardship while inverting roles: turning a war of choice and rejectionism into an unprovoked “catastrophe” inflicted by the intended victims. It sustain grievance and does not nothing to advance peace.
It’s hard to think of a bigger historical inversion than claiming that the Nabka is about a fictional Israeli genocide rather than a failed Arab genocide.
If they had succeeded, they’d be celebrating how they wiped out the Jews.
They’re just crying that they weren’t able to.
OK this is even more wild.
They literally show a photo of Palestinian Arabs burning a Jewish convoy trying to supply food to Jerusalem (when they attempt to starve the 100K Jews living there).
TF is wrong with these people
