@TheAVClub Yes... Spelling Bee... But don't miss the original two series/seasons out of NZ, before the Australian series/seasons. Great show. Reminds me of taskmaster in terms of looseness and letting the comedians be themselves. Love it.
@lisareality1@metofficeUK@metoffice A single data point (in 2026 or 1976) is insufficient to draw meaningful conclusions. You would fail your science GCSE if your classroom experiments gathered exactly one data point per set of conditions.
@DavidGHFrost If you put a coat on a snowman, will they melt faster or slower? This question (for CHILDREN!) might help you understand the flaw in your logic.
@LeeAndersonMP_ If my cousin stopped beating his kids, it's wouldn't dent global child abuse stats. Your position seems to be that he should continue to beat them.
@James220203 When comparing data sets, comparing their maximum values (as you've done) has merits but in the context of global warming it is perhaps worthwhile to compare global averages (it's not called "UK warming") and year on year trends (mitigating the effect of large outliers).
@pritipatel Take back from who? Who had control? Was David Cameron a powerless puppet? The fact we ran the referendum suggests perhaps we were in control all along?
@Frackosh@piersmorgan Remember that sporting match, where the winners managed an amazing 52 points? Meanwhile the losers scored a pathetic 48 points? One of the most DECISIVE victories in sport. It wasn't even close... I mean, it literally was close, but still...
@benonwine Would you agree that it's possible to be unprofessional whilst in a suit and tie? And hence doesn't the logic inverse hypothetically hold? (That it's possible to be professional whilst NOT in a suit and tie.) Or is suit and tie a necessary, but clearly not sufficient, condition?
@bankertobuilder Wouldn't one definition of "Inefficient" be "wasting energy by stop/starting unnecessarily"... Say, at a set of lights when the junction is otherwise clear?
@SuellaBraverman Pssst... Have you read your own Wikipedia page? Or, you know, paid attention to your career at all?... It suggests your tweet isn't actually a position you Hold... And instead is just partisan BS. Something to work on?
@LozzaFox "The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept stating that for a tolerant society to remain tolerant, it must eventually become intolerant of intolerance." - Google A.I.
In short, KH reaps what she sows.
