@DeputyGrocott My little girl had it under her armpits and down her side. We kept her skin hydrated with aveeno (usual cream we use for her eczema). It lasted a month. Just tried to keep her from overly getting warm. Fingers crossed it clears quickly.
Love the fact that @Argos_Online have been unable to deliver my items but are showing that I returned them…I didn’t even see them to be able to return 😩 and then trying to sort to get a new delivery date is impossible.
@_MrLevick Beautiful beach down the road at Alnmouth (dog friendly - most places are there). We preferred Bamburgh Castle (the grounds are dog friendly) with a walk on the beach afterwards.
If you want kids to love reading, show them that YOU love reading! Make books central to everything you do. Always share books, talk about books, help them find new books to love. Never judge their choices, and read to them every day. It'll change their lives forever! #literacy
@whatSFSaid The ending got a round of applause. They absolutely loved it. I had tears throughout the last few chapters and story time became the most important time of the day (most wanted to miss playtime to read on).
Reading Tyger to year 5 and really near the end. There is nothing like the choral protest of children when you close the book after reaching the end of the chapter. They are desperate to know the end @whatSFSaid#readingforpleasure#childrensbook#readingisfundamental
@jonnybid Agreed! Plus if a book is heavy in a topic being covered, knowledge isn’t always secure which can hinder the enjoyment of the text. My class would say Tyger is the best book ever and I’m not sure it fits in to a certain topic.
We’ve received a good number of Reading Ambassador applications from KS2! We will be selecting successful candidates this week ready for our first meeting. Lots on the horizon for these important roles at HV.
