@sohni Awesome camera work. Awesome crane driver precision. And far better to have the workers on the ground directing the traffic than stupid 4 way traffic lights clogging up the traffic . So I don’t know what your issue is here sir
As per a request from @ec1bathrooms check out Parts 1 to 3 of Frankie's (not quite so new) adventure. Set in a world where a mysterious virus means no humans are at work, Frankie the flamingo and Clarence the crab meet Eric the frog. Wot? Eric? The frog ? https://t.co/6fHyUv7GLC
What is happening?? AI has taken over our website without our knowledge and made it interactive! https://t.co/SCtT9bd5vU
Franke the flamingo and Clarence the crab now torn about whether its a good or bad thing...
Make it equal: Share water fetching between women and men, girls and boys.
Let’s get #Goal6 on track! #WorldWaterDay#WaterAction
https://t.co/Als1VfKcQx
International Women’s Day is about celebrating the achievements of women and advocating for a gender-equal world – and we’re ready to #InspireInclusion in the water industry!
We’ve committed to increasing our female retention and employing more women at Thames Water.
#IWD2024
When schools have safe water, toilets, and soap for handwashing, children have a healthy learning environment, and girls are more likely to attend school when they're on their period.
This #EducationDay, we must ensure that young people can exercise their right to education.
Quite an increase. Especially as loos using far more per flush back then. And mostly baths to get clean. We had one bath a week in winter and twice a week in summer. Now a short shower every day.
DYK we use 60% more water now than we did in the 60s? Why? A lot of it is around lifestyle - longer & more frequent showers, leaky loos, more swimming pools/hot tubs in homes... and ice baths🥶! To find out how you can save water, head to https://t.co/mo70eCp88V #Pledge2024
“They found that on average, a liter of bottled water contained some 240,000 detectable plastic fragments—10 to 100 times greater than previous estimates.” https://t.co/NkqdkeiiWz
The saddest compilation video I have ever made. But perhaps also the most positive if it causes a reduction in plastic pollution in 2024. In once pristine seas, every nearshore plankton sample I now collect contains plastic microfibers. (Sound On) @zeiss_micro
Impressive work here by Bradley the beaver! Has learnt from his previous mistake when his rather too successful dam had to be dismantled by Frankie the flamingo! https://t.co/Yfzmq6TmxT
It’s not surprising then that flood defences built to cope with 1 in 100 year floods are struggling.
Keswick defences were built in 2012 were overtopped by a metre in 2015.
Brechin flood defences completed in 2015 to defend against a 1 in 200 year flood were overtopped in 2023
We have just seven years left to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) – safe toilets and water for all by 2030. A toilet is small but mighty – just like a hummingbird, but a hummingbird is prettier than most toilets!
