It is #GeneticCounsellorAwarenessday! I am lucky to return from maternity leave to work with the GCs at @StMichaelsFdn for a prenatal genetics elective. Observing the unique breadth of knowledge and counselling expertise of the GCs here has been a great learning experience!

2022 brought me the best gift - becoming a parent, and a mother. Going through pregnancy, labour, birth, and the trials of breastfeeding will make me a better doctor in 2023. For now, I am soaking up the last bits of study-free maternity leave before Royal College prep begins 😊
