@sarasidnerCNN in listening to Table for 5 today, I want to share a thought on Trump and his war of choice. Trump has made no bones of campaigning for the Nobel Peace prize. He has taken the U.S. to war with Iran in hopes of garnering that ever-elusive award.
@Ally_Sammarco@PamelaBrownCNN I hear you clearly. However, I strongly recommend that young women be cautioned on tamping down their own alcohol consumption. It places women in a dangerous and vulnerable position, which they CAN control.
@gtconway3d@ABKinSTL I've been listening to you since T's first presidency. I even purchased a Lincoln Project coffee mug. T has been given enough rope to hang himself. MOO (my opinion only)
@vera_kober_art@18Bini Hello, would you consider marketing photos of your work? I like to paste high quality photos on handmade note cards. Or, perhaps you have a series of note cards for sale.
@CNN I support sexual assault victims; however, at some point the "victim" is responsible for her own actions. How much did the shadow figure on CNN today contribute to her encounter with Eric Swalwell? Is she claiming he slipped her a "date rape drug?" Did this woman drink too much?
@smerconish Hi Michael, listening to your Saturday show. If we almost unanimously think Trump is not a rational actor, perhaps it is the fault of the media. Afterall, we are getting our information, and basing our decisions, primarily, based on what we hear and read in the news.
@smerconish Michael, off topic. Despite several attempts, I am unable to read Trump's Truth Social post, post Melania Trump's announcement today re: Epstein. Unwilling to join Truth Social. This is big news. Why does a Google search not show me Trump's actual lengthy Truth Social post?
@smerconish You have me hooked on your show. I finally finished out how to stream CNN for only $6.99/ month. Getting a real, affordable education. Love your Saturday show and daily polls and thoughts.
@smerconish For myself, my life was peppered by wSr when I was a grade schooler, and my two older brothers fought in the Vietnam War. One was drafted in the early rounds; the other "volunteered draft," thinking he would be fighting alongside his older brother.
@smerconish@tomfriedmanNYT@AmbJohnBolton I don't normally site the Bible; Romans 16-19. I must say that I am a bit appalled by Smirconish saying that he is willing to send American troops to their death to retrieve the uranium in Iran. While these soldiers may be willing to give their lives..is your life more important?
@smerconish Respectively Michael, I disagree with you. I think we should get out of Iran now. I'm reminded of the saying that a person is promoted to their point of incompetency. I think Trump is out of his depth. His old tricks are no longer working.
@BraveInstitute Dear Mary, I was a member of your congregation in Wilsonville at the Living Enrichment Center. I have recently been listening to your teachings as a review. You have my support in all your future endeavors. We can each love one another radically. @rosieaco
@smerconish How can the GOP complain about how long it took Jack Smith to bring charges, when Hunter Biden has been investigated for 5 years and no charges have been brought yet?
@JakeSherman From the outside, it seems chaotic. I imagine from the inside there is a battle for the direction of the Republican party in the H of R. Why else would they weaken themselves in such a public fashion?
