@SoLInTheWild I think you've nailed it! The instructional hierarchy is the key to what kind of instruction is best at each stage. Not all of one, or all of another.
@EduConsumersFdn@SoLInTheWild I remember a teacher bringing a couch into her classroom for a comfortable reading corner and later having to remove it because a mouse built a nest in it. π±
Thereβs a good reason for sturdy, easily cleaned and maintained furniture in classrooms!
@SimBadd18@adamboxer1 Before retiring, the document camera, (visualizer), was my essential teaching tool, for all the reasons explained by @SimBadd18 and more. Primary students need to be able to see clearly what you're doing with your hands when you demonstrate anything.
