@michae1becker It needed color grading to unify the look. The light and sets in the first two scenes felt warm and inviting . The toy fantasy sequence felt cold and ugly. Exactly the opposite of what the viewer was supposed to feel.
@michae1becker It’s bad storytelling and bad editing also. When the boy falls asleep he should awaken at the scene where he is walking looking up at toys above him. Instead you are looking at that weird giraffe.
@michae1becker And then at the end the Polaroid with the kid and that guy… are we supposed to know who that is? What does the weird flat color temperature of that last shot have to do with the “golden hour” feel of the first two shots? Or the cold lighting in the toy fantasy sequence?
I find it distasteful, almost unethical, to say this when you have 18 million subscribers.
Hard to explain why, but with great reach comes great responsibility. Potentially killing someone else’s nascent project reeks of carelessness.
First, do no harm.

@MovingToTheSun Requiring the Bingbot to do a takeaway evaluation of every participant in an interaction as “good” or “bad” is probably the root of the problem. Most reasonable people are not so quick to rush to judgement. They would keep evaluating why a person might have said something wrong.
@marcrandolph It is really nice to hear how much you value the stories. I wonder what you would think of our little team? We have a story for you ✨ @ourworlds.xr
