Or you can go online and listen to the Catechism in a Year.

You might remain unconvinced. However, you will actually understand what you are disagreeing with. Right now you are just attacking a caricature of what you think we are.

You will be pleasantly surprised that Mary is mentioned a moderate amount and discussed in a very measured way.

Thr conservative Christians who are still standing with Samuel Sey are doing so because they believe he is a good man, a Christian man, a family man, even a fellow conservative, certainly not a criminal.

For whatever reason they can't make the leap between their friends and the hundreds of thousands of people who are just like him. They can't see that these are also good people who made decisions about jobs, family, safety, and just didn't fill out the right paperwork.

They can't imagine that these other people are also good.

When I was in graduate school, I met a couple who stressed out at the possibility that immigration wanted to deport the wife. She came here on a student visa, fell in love and now, was trying to stay here legally with her husband. There was no crime but according to them, they were being treated with suspicion and found the whole ordeal stressful and scary.

Remember ICE has been hanging out at immigration court houses and arresting people who are following the law, who have completed their paperwork and are who areshowing up to their appointments.
