Pope LeoXIV has, once again, condemned abortion.
“Every life must be recognized and protected from the moment of its conception.”
- Pope LeoXIV
Life begins at conception.
@franczvicenza89@St_Peter_trad@WalmartThomist He wills antecedently for all to go to Heaven. However, due to His consequent will, some do not. In the Thomistic framework, you could say God wills for an Individual (if separated from Him) to go to Heaven and Hell simultaneously.
@whitesadvocate@GroyperClip Oh yeah the death cult that preaches triumph over death and an opportunity to have eternal life? Yeah we're totally a death cult💀💀
@Gojo1471498@Eng_Catholicism@proginosko What are you trying to prove with this? Vaguely dishing out text to vaguely support whatever you're saying isn't a proof.
@NamorPB@EddyEkofo@metathomist He quite literally is implying (to Thomists) that if they disagree with the interpretation, then they haven't read St. Thomas. He's done this to MT, Wagner and Astro.
Christ came to destroy the works of the devil, not by acting powerfully, but rather by his and his members' suffering, so as to conquer the devil not by power, but by righteousness (ST 3.41.1ad2).
@CatholicCharm@Ruesavatar This is not really true either. Oral sex is a disordered act towards procreation and so can never be done licitly. If done for carnal pleasure, it is apt to incur mortal sin on the participants. "Foreplay" is reprobate
@CTrefugees@AngAesthetics Intellectual operation is metaphysical; not medical. You can still hold that males are nobler than females. There is nothing wrong with that from a Thomistic standpoint
@EddyEkofo@metathomist This is like the 2nd or 3rd Thomist that I've seen you have a conversation with and also imply they haven't read St. Thomas if they disagree... Maybe you're the one that hasn't read him 💀
