Punishing Fauci severely for this atrocity is necessary, but far insufficient. We must never let this happen again, and we must stop all the continuing flagrant offenses that are built upon the same fallacies. Here's another one of them:

"But vaccine X is safer than getting disease X!"

Maybe, maybe not. Either way, this is a stupid comparison. But it's constantly stated and used to justify egregiously unjust vax mandates. This is yet another testimony to the logical bankruptcy of contemporary discourse on the topic, which always substitutes "Trust The Science" ™️for rational thought. That's where the Fauci worship came from, and even now that he's been exposed, it's where the worship of the next Fauci-like figure will come from.

If you get a vax, there's a 100% chance of assuming its associated risks, whatever they may be. If you don't get a vax, you are not thereby assuming the risks of the disease it aims to prevent.

Here's the actually useful comparison:

1⃣ Admitted risks of the vaccine, increased by the inherently larger risk of medical intervention (vs nonintervention), increased by the inherent risks of all injections as such, increased by the likelihood that actual risks are greater (perhaps far greater -- cf. Fauci/Covid) than admitted risks—especially with new methods (e.g. mRNA-based jabs).

vs.

2⃣ Risks of the disease itself, reduced by the general probability of actually getting the disease, reduced by the impact of other non-vax measures you plan to take to avoid the disease/mitigate its effects, reduced by the probability of preexisting immunities already offering partial (or even complete) protection, reduced by the inherent preferability of letting natural processes take their course when in doubt. (See the literature on the radical overmedicalization of contemporary practice; many cited in On Those Who Are Well [2025])

Even the highest level federal government agencies are finally realizing this is the right comparison, hence the childhood vaccination schedule now being radically revised and reduced. Sensible people long knew this was necessary, and the knew that without needing any medical expertise.

I'm not saying that comparison will always advise against every vaccine. (I'm not an "antivaxxer;" for the most part I leave discerning vaccines themselves to those more qualified than I to engage in that study).

I'm simply saying that, from a straightforward logical perspective, that's the comparison that must be made.

I'm moreover pointing out what's even more obvious: that comparison is *always* up to the indvidual (/parent) to make for himself, and it is *never* licit to coerce someone into deciding it one way with civil mandates, institutional mandates, or bogus moralizing and ad-hoc creation of nonexistent pseudo-moral obligations.

We must refute the lies at their most basic level if we want to have any hope of stopping the next tyranny ⤵️
