Todays like today make me really miss my mom. We lost her 20 years ago this month to cancer but it feels like just yesterday that I would call her every day after work ❤️ I miss our daily talks now more than ever.
Wishing you all a very Happy Mother’s Day 💐 ❤️
Thank you all for the kind words today. Each and every one is an answered prayer. ❤️
Thank you for continuing to share my story and keeping me in your prayers. Stay strong. 🙏
Thank you for sharing my story, @AmandaMilius. I look forward to being able to share my entire truth in time.
Thank you to all for all for the kind words, prayers, and for believing in me.
You probably haven’t heard about Cathy Latham. She doesn’t have a big platform and doesn’t appear on your TV every night.
Cathy was indicted by Fulton County DA Fani Willis for her efforts to ensure a fair 2020 election.
She was an award-winning public high school economics teacher, before being indicted on 11 felony counts by the state of Georgia in August of 2023.
During the election cycle in 2020, Cathy was the Coffee County GOP Chair, and the voice of the 129 counties in Georgia with a population under 80,000. She was passionate about election integrity.
This indictment has prevented Cathy from passing background checks (she did not have so much as a speeding ticket on her record previously) and from obtaining employment.
Her situation is the epitome of the purpose of this lawfare. As a result of her exercising her constitutional rights, and attempting to protect the votes of all Georgians, she faces jail time & has had to spend thousands of dollars on her defense – putting her in a precarious financial situation.
Cathy’s family have also been impacted & they try to simplify their lives to accommodate an uncertain future.
She & others like her are whom the Courage Under Fire Legal Defense Fund @PersonnelPolicy exists to protect.
Please donate to her fund here now and help spread the word.

I am thankful for my family, my friends, my health, my faith, and all of the prayers I have received. Today, I am filled with gratitude and hope.
While Thanksgiving is not easy for all, I sincerely hope your day is filled with grace and many blessings. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone ❤️
Gov. Kemp and AG Carr could have shown leadership and stood up to Fani Willis when she hand delivered letters to them on Feb 10, 2021, notifying them she was investigating possible election interference and told her she didn't legal jurisdiction.
They chose not to and were either complicit in it or were cowards.
The media has unjustly destroyed the reputation of the victims of Willis politically motivated Witch-hunt and their lives have been forever changed because of the inaction of Kemp and Carr.
The ones indicted are all good people being used by Fani and dubious forces that want to destroy the best President this nation has ever had and prevent him from running again.
I ask that you lift up all up the victims of Fani in your prayers nightly..
I've learned a great deal about the darker sides of this platform over the past few weeks. It hasn’t been easy and I try my best not to take some of the messages to heart. It's one thing to hope for the justice system to fulfill its duty and wish for a fair and impartial trial. I sincerely hope that, when I have the opportunity to share my story, the justice system, upon which our country relies, will not fail me (or any citizen, ever).
Every day, I pray for strength, courage, and peace. I pray for a just trial and an unbiased jury. I also pray that when my moment arrives, I will be exonerated of the crimes I've been accused of. My deepest hope is that people will listen and realize it's acceptable to change their opinions about someone they may have previously harbored ill feelings towards. 🙏
Above all, I pray that our country finds peace.
You have no idea how much it has meant to me and given me strength seeing all who support, sent words of encouragement, & said prayers for myself and everyone else.
Please keep sharing, praying, & telling our story.

22 years ago today, I taught a 9th-grade class with the opening question: "What does it mean to be an American?"
Each student wrote their answer on top of their paper. I discussed the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights, explaining terms like inalienable rights and self-evident truths. We examined the first 10 amendments. I planned to ask if they'd change their answers.
However, I was interrupted by news of a U.S. attack, and you know the rest. The next day, the students told me they'd never forget our discussion that day before we learned our lives would be forever changed.
Today, our own people and government threaten these basic rights.
Take a moment now to answer: What does it mean to be an American?
One day, I received a sack filled with what seemed like nothing more than small bits of rock and wood. Honestly, I initially thought it was just plain old trash.
Then, I was told to plant them. Surprise! They were amaryllis bulbs. The person who gave them to me mentioned they'd been sitting in that sack for over two years, but there was still hope they might sprout.
So, during the early spring, I planted these forgotten bulbs in my front yard. Life got busy, and I almost forgot about them. We even endured a dry summer and fall, followed by an unusually cold and harsh winter.
But when the next spring arrived, I spotted vibrant green shoots poking out of the ground, and I couldn't help but wonder what was growing. To my astonishment, the most beautiful red flowers burst forth.
It turns out, the cold weather had somehow brought out the hidden beauty in what I'd once dismissed as mere rock and wood.
It's funny how life works that way sometimes. Just like those bulbs, God can take the darkest souls and transform them into something truly beautiful. They become a new creation in Him, no longer defined by their past, but shining with newfound beauty. 🌺🌱
