🎥| Full video of Taylor performing “I Knew It, I Knew You”, her speech, introducing Randy Newman and performing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” with the legend himself!
Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.
Thank you to the brilliant Andrew Stanton for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable @RandyNewman or the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you’ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it.
By we, I mean myself and my pal @jackantonoff. We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods. “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is out everywhere now. 🤠🐴

🚨“I Knew It, I Knew You” will be Taylor Swift’s return to COUNTRY and was written and produced by Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff!
“The song marks a return to Swift’s country roots, blending styles that have defined her record-breaking career as a songwriter and artist.”
The way we have all grown up with Toy Story. The way we have grown up with Taylor. The way this is truly so full circle. I’m going to be such a mess hearing whatever Taylor has written for Toy Story 5. We will in fact sob. SO FULL CIRCLE. Little me wouldn’t believe this.
“Toy Story 5” director and screenwriter Andrew Stanton on Taylor Swift's new song "I Knew It, I Knew You":
“It’s incredible just how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and the immediate way she understood what the character was going through was undeniable. The song is so deeply connected to ‘Toy Story.’ So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”

‼️ | Taylor Swift thanked Travis Kelce in her “Pop Album of the Year” acceptance speech, and in that small, shining moment, the room seemed to hold a little more feeling.
“[The Life of a Showgirl] probably feels happy, confident and free.… that’s the way I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé.”
🚨| Graham Norton on working with Taylor Swift on the ‘Opalite’ music video ‘Taylor is a marvellous director’
“It was like a movie shoot, a massive, massive deal, Everyone was lovely on set, it was a really, really fun experience. The whole thing came to her in a blinding flash while she was on the [Graham Norton Show] sofa… and the next thing you know, she’s written this whole treatment. Taylor is a marvelous director. Her ability to not get stressed is extraordinary.”
