I think it's about time I share my true opinion on @AxieInfinity. With recent discussions on land utility, I feel most people are overlooking the fundamental issue with #AxieInfinity that's developed over the last year or two. Buckle your seatbelt this will be a long one ๐
In turn, this should put upward pressure on the prices of land and Axies. WIth economics designed to reward those that actually participate in the games ecosystem, AI can return to a business model that benefits the community that is at the foundation of the project's successโค๏ธ
I would split up the remaining AXS reserved for staking between landholders and higher rewards for season leaderboards and tournaments. This should drive more value to SLP, which would increase the ROI of playing the game as well as running Axie scholarships.
I don't like bringing up issues without potential solutions, so here is what I would do to try to fix the situation. First, I would get rid of the AXS portion of the breeding cost. What is the point of a utility token if your governance token has the same utility lol?
The domino effects of this poorly designed backward model can be felt at every level of the AI community. The team has been destroying what made AI great in the first place, community-focused economics that rewards the members who contribute the most value to the game's ecosystem
