(1/8) Different media but in Naruto the villains are almost always misunderstood & that's part of the point. Everyone has humanity in them yet a lot of us lose it because of the pain we experience in this world. Growing & learning from our pain & mistakes is the lesson that show-
(7/8) he just wanted to end everyone's suffering - the issue being he'd be ending their true existence to replace it with a fake reality.
So while the main goal of that show is to end the cycle of hatred - it also admits there are some you *can't* save from it no matter -
@wine_x13 I think the grandma coming around in the end was a good thing but the forgiveness came too quickly. She needs to earn it & she'll have to spend the rest of her life atoning for what she's done to her family. I just wish they would have showed that in the movie

I can't help but think gaming is in a really, really bad place right now.
Things like this, massive layoffs/closures across the industry losing thousands of talented people who will never return, and the continual refocus on the Hollywoodification of games in general.
I hate it.
