@hardestgeezer My Dad was going through the passage on the biggest super tanker in the world at the time (early 80s) and they hit a wave so big it stopped it in its tracks, pushed it backwards and caved its hull in. So a bit dicey!

@runnersworld I’m doing one of your great running plans but I’m stuck on some terminology. What does 7 of 1M or 7M of 1M mean? Am I meant to be running 7 miles before starting the tempo bit of the training? Found in sub 3:30 marathon training plan. Thanks!

@ChomChef @thehoffster Not sure if you know, but the songs originates from slaves in the southern states who would sing it asking for God to take them to heaven to save them from the hell they’d go through everyday. Hope this helps in understanding why people are unhappy with it.

I know many require more “female” or “male” traits but the truth is, those male and female traits are often misplaced leading to males believe if they have to be strong (manual labour jobs

@FullNam95453515 @emmyfeline @AverilLeimon In my head that’s almost a null question. Not because it’s not important or a good question (it is both good and important), but because to me equality is about removing barriers and not propping people up instead. True equality lies there.

@Rum_Runner_12 @BethRigby @skysarahjane Most of my friends want equality because it’ll help both men and women. Eg in the case of mental health in males, high homicide rates, not being “suitable” for certain jobs etc. It’s just better for everyone!
