- there is minimal activities and activity staff, residents sit for hours alone unstimulated and bored.

Why? Because the Ontario government has brought in changes which make it virtually impossible to unite couples in long-term care.

When you hear the government talk about expanding private for-profit healthcare, remember that this would:

- worsen health worker shortages in our public system
- divert public dollars towards corporate profits
- lead to a decline in the quality of care
