Percival has lived on this Earth for 10 years - his condition proof that he was neglected every single one of them. 💔
His ear canals are thickened and filled with moist, yellow debris (vets were unable to clean them). His skin is lichenified and alopecic, and his ear tips are scabbed over.
I can’t imagine the discomfort Percival has experienced over the last decade; it screams neglect, and so does the fact that he doesn’t know how to interact with humans.
Upon intake, vets were able to complete his exam, administer vaccines, and provide medication for his ailments. He was growling a bit.
Since then, Percival has displayed some barrier reactivity and will need placement with a rescue due to behavior.
