The Agriculture Service Boards of Alberta passed the resolution. What can we all do now? We all have influences on different boards and societies. These resolutions need to be adopted to show a united front. Ag society’s, feeder associations, rodeo associations, community pastures. Wherever you are, this can be brought forward.

“Quality assurance” programs to allow market access are the result of increased regulation. We do not have to guess what the result will be from the CFIA overreach.
The changes by the CFIA to cattle traceability overweight the risk of a border closure and give no thought into the down stream effects to rural communities. This resolution we are bringing forward will attempt to force the CFIA to consider the cost.
