I just released an all-in-one tool that lets you extract textures from any perspective, turn them into seamless textures, and use them on your 3D models.

Security researchers have warned that attackers are using Steam Workshop to spread malware through Wallpaper Engine wallpapers.
Some fake wallpapers are uploaded as “Application” wallpapers, which can run programs on your PC.
These files have been used to install malware, steal Steam accounts, collect personal information, and even mine cryptocurrency.
Some of the malicious wallpapers were downloaded thousands of times before being removed.
To stay safe:
>Download wallpapers only from creators you trust.
>Be extra careful with “Application” wallpapers.
>Scan Workshop files with up-to-date antivirus software.
if you're an artist who regularly takes commissions and you don't have a public queue/trello in the big '26 what are you doing !!!!! its SO easy to set one up. Makes you so much more credible and takes a ton of pressure off both you and the commissioner
everyone in the replies not agreeing with this just saying "keep furry weird" yeah ok buddy keep going through mental gymnastics to try and justify that you think youre better than everyone because you only jack off to drawings of dogs rather than doing it irl
Yo artists, if can't afford to take art comms seriously like a 'real' job you should reconsider working with art may not be for you.
Your client should be respected!
No one shouldn't wait months for a comms to get done.
You're blessed with this job and you do this? You suck.
> you don’t actually need to be all that interesting to have a thriving social life. You just need to be 1) pleasant 2) easygoing 3) SHOW UP REGULARLY
> never turn down invites. Object permanence is nonexistent where plans are concerned
> don’t be afraid to propose casual hangouts with people you don’t know very well. This is much more normal than I thought for most of my life. People like having people around.
> aim for passive and spontaneous time with people. Encourage dropping by casually for dinner. Host joint work sessions at your house, take classes with together
> detracting from people’s lives will push them away more than contributing will bring them close.
so: don’t use people. there’s usually some asymmetry in what two parties have to contribute, but make an earnest effort
> also make sure you aren’t a drain on their emotions. no neediness, guilt-tripping, drama, pettiness, or passive aggression.
> I used to have extreme social anxiety. also my life was a mess and I fell into the trap of thinking I needed to fix myself before I could have friendship. That was stupid and incredibly self-defeating, especially because learning from others is a huge part of how you become better. as long as you don’t *actively detract* from people’s lives, they’ll still mildly prefer having you around.
