Never in my career have I seen such a profound disconnect between reality and opinion with the cryptocurrency influencer and media perception of Cardano versus its actual fundamentals.

We are on the verge of the most significant hard fork in the history of the project, tons of community DApps are growing rapidly, we are leading the industry in scaling R&D, rare evo is going to be a huge event, the Foundation summit huge, we'll be at Token 2049, technologies like Hydra are maturing, we have partnerchains, midnight, prism, tons of community events, catalyst, and then the constitutional convention in Argentina.

It's becoming impossible to keep up with, and it has much good news coming in just the next six months. Then I look at the cryptomedia, and the headlines are "Will Cardano die?"

It's beyond pathetic and just reflects on the low quality and low effort they put into our ecosystem. Cardano is here to stay, and it's a juggernaut that will drag this industry kicking and screaming if it has to towards solving the real-world economic, political, and social issues we all face.

The only thing that is still keeping me here and releasing music on web3 is the great people I've met and the support I've received from them.

But it's getting harder and harder to stay motivated and even to release music here on web3 with all this boosting happening, and it's getting worse every day. It's drowning new and upcoming artists, as well as those who have been here from the start.

With new platforms emerging, I am afraid this issue will spill over to them as soon as they become popular.

Regarding labels, I have nothing against them. There are great labels out there, even in web3, that are legitimate and play by the same rules as any independent artist, without any boosting or shenanigans.

And for the end, I'm no expert, but can anyone who is boosting explain or give one good reason for doing it? Because I can't see any so far.
