The Dallas Christian-Fort Worth Christian game is where the intrigue is for us, but I went ahead and did the full column anyway. Check out the picks on the blog every week at https://t.co/Hbq3q3mTqY

Private schools open a new season of #TXHSFB this week. So games must be picked (for entertainment purposes only). The 12th annual volume will be found each week at the informatively named Not-UIL Football Picks. https://t.co/Hbq3q3mTqY

I love the Lone Star Conference and miss having it in Commerce.

My tiny hill to defend on this Earth is that scoreboards with changeable names should always use mascots unless the two teams are the same name.

We are really using GPRAIRIE and LITTLEELM when GOPHERS and LOBOS are right there?

@TAPPSbiz @TeamLSCSN I appreciate the honesty, and I know you have a hard time pleasing everyone. Just would like what is used to fit. Parish-TMI. Sure no problem. The time Bishop was used for Bishop Lynch not as much. Please no “Dallas Chr” if my school makes a statement tournament soon.

@avimehta19 The #Jets factor got you to the end of the game this year!

@jeffk_stars @thepwhlofficial We get to add “Timeout Seattle, a Torrent timeout” to the list

@TeamLSCSN I see Robinson not the only placing using bad scoreboard captions. Eagles and Pioneers would look so much better.

Shopping, football, and decorating for Christmas. A powerful trifecta that rules the day after Thanksgiving.

I say focus only on football and who is going to win the TAPPS semifinals. Picks always on the blog. https://t.co/Hbq3q3mTqY

@TeamLSCSN I hate to do this you, but they were in the semis last year. Though I must admit any excuse to bring up a final score with 4 points is a good one.

[Cavender Campbell @Cav_0]

@TeamLSCSN 16 Teams...6 Eagles...All Eagles State Champions still in play.

The rain is clearing out so enjoy some playoff football or the Southland Volleyball Tournament in Commerce. The choice is yours.

@TeamLSCSN @LSCSN Very rare at games these days. I have many lonely hills I defend and yes I've told DC coaches to bring printed rosters and no it hasn't gotten them to do so. I think I finally convinced them to keep the school website updated with at least varsity game times. So, small victories.

[Cavender Campbell @Cav_0]

@TeamLSCSN They went with “Bishop” ???
