In reality, they hold your money in order to gain interest. Once the tickets are sold they have both the sellers and buyers money. They won’t even allow people to be paid now that events have been postponed to 2021. They currently hold £600 belonging to me from sold tickets.
@AXS_UK just so everyone is clear. This company make it impossible to sell tickets elsewhere so you must sell through them. They then wihhold your money, even if tickets sold months in advance, claiming ‘safety and security’ reasons to protect the seller / buyer.
@AXS_UK
I sold tickets to Diana Ross (now postponed to 2021) but have been told I won't get my money until the event has happened. Seems unfair to hold onto both the sellers & buyers money especially given the circumstances. What can be done to help?
Finally, after 9 days of live chat holding, tweeting, DM, phoning, @Ryanair confirmed I am back in the cash refund queue. When that will end, who knows, it's a start at least. @MartinSLewis#RefundPassengers#NoVouchers
@dodzer33@ladbible@Ryanair It's not about the delay, that we understand. @Ryanair promised cash refund, as is our legal right, then sent vouchers. Withholding millions of customers money is illegal, it's nothing to do with staff numbers.
