@CbitGemma is all packed and ready to go to a fantastic #ABIWeek2023 support hub she is hosting at the @BelfastTrust. @cbituk’s fantastic relationships with clinical staff are key to ensuring our support reaches the families who need it in the earliest stages of their ABI journey

83% of our referrals in 2022-2023 were from hospital referrals...
More often than not, those with acquired brain injuries will at some point have time in hospital. Whether that is soon after the injury occurs, or later on when symptoms might develop.

Thread 1/2...
Together, this week, we are supporting #ABIweek2023
Action for Brain Injury Week raises awareness around acquired brain injury and we're delighted to work so closely with @cbituk and will be continuing to share vital information around ABI.
The majority of our referrals come from hospitals. At @cbituk we know the importance of early intervention.
We work closely with hospitals to ensure that families feel they are supported from the start of their journey with ABI.
We listen, inform and support!
Action for Brain Injury Week #ABIWeek2023 Thanks to Karen at RBHSC @BelfastTrust for volunteering to take part in our awareness TikTok @cbitni @cbituk
Working in partnership to get people talking about the hidden challenges many of the children we support face on a daily basis
Always a pleasure to have @cbitlisa and @bremner_steph for a visit in NI. @CbitGemma showed Lisa around #RBHSC@BelfastTrust and met with some of the amazing staff members there. We’re privileged to work closely with those staff to support children and young affected by ABI
We are innovators and as such we are determined to continuously improve and develop our resources so that users, especially families are able to access our resources and service when they need it.

Strike a (Glowing Superhero) pose for #CBITGloWeek ✌️🕺
We are supporting @cbituk by raising awareness of being seen, not hurt. Have a conversation with a young person about the importance of road safety and why you should always be bright in the dark.
