One of the more interesting stories surrounding the World Cup is just how badly trump has cost the US hospitality industry.

We’re one of 3 countries hosting the biggest sporting event on Earth, yet hotel bookings and international tourism numbers are coming in well below projections.

Hospitality groups, tourism analysts, and travel sites have all pointed to visa delays, travel restrictions, immigration concerns, and the perception that America is less welcoming than it used to be. Apparently murdering citizens in cold blood in the middle of the streets isn’t good for business.

trump and his policies have cost the US over $8 billion in tourism revenue alone.

Millions fewer foreign visitors choosing not to come here, is not just politics.

That’s jobs, hotels, restaurants, local businesses, and lost revenue.
