Ten days of water. That is what is left in northern Italy. Salt from the Adriatic pushing upstream into soil that fed generations.
Emergency meetings next week. Crops already turning.
We bear witness to a land dying on a timeline measured in days, not decades.

#BREAKING: The Trump admin. just moved forward with a plan to sell over 30 million acres off American Samoa for deep-sea mining.
This plan is being advanced despite strong public opposition, putting wildlife, fisheries, habitats, and communities at risk: https://t.co/mYmKcrkFF3
People in France are literally rescuing fish before they die as rivers disappear completely. After 3 consecutive heatwaves, 16% of French rivers have dried up. Once-living riverbeds are becoming ecological deserts/cemeteries. The birds are disappearing also due to lack of food.
Americans criticizing Canada for not being able to control 1 billion acres of forrest when they can't even control their own lettuce supply from giving themselves explosive diarrhea.
There are wildfires all over the western and central US right now.
When California had wildfires that billowed smoke into Canada, the Canadians didn’t bitch about it, they send firefighters using their own tax dollars, not asking to be reimbursed, to help control the blaze.
When our closest allies are struggling, our job is not to point fingers and whine. It’s to help.
Neither natural disasters nor air quality, care about the artificial borders we draw on a map.
So grow a spine, and focus on what we can do to help our neighbors and in turn ourselves, instead of just complaining about how it’s an inconvenience to you, as if all of North America isn’t breathing this air.
Americans thinking Canadian wildfire smoke shouldn’t affect them and Canadians thinking FDA cuts won’t affect our food supply. We’re all on this continent together, buckos. Smoke, parasites and viruses don’t care about borders.

very telling that when california was on fire canadian firefighters mobilized to provide wildfire relief, whereas when canada has 800 active wildfires americans are just moaning about the air quality lol
🔥 Northwestern Ontario’s wildfire crisis is rapidly escalating, forcing widespread evacuations and threatening several communities.
With provincial wildfire fighting resources already stretched thin, concerns are growing that years of chronic underfunding have left Ontario unprepared for a wildfire emergency of this scale.
The rapidly growing fires are also producing massive amounts of smoke, leading to hazardous air quality across much of Ontario and sending thick smoke hundreds of kilometres from the fires.
Here’s what we know about the most concerning fires, the communities at risk and the response currently underway:

Our thoughts go out to those impacted by these devastating wildfires. ❤️

A message from a friend working in emergency management in Ontario:
Northwestern Ontario needs your help.
Our region is facing an unprecedented wildfire emergency. Communities across the Northwest are dealing with evacuations, hazardous smoke, extreme heat, and stretched emergency response capacity.
We're hearing one message loud and clear:
Where is Ontario Corps?
Many of the people and organizations who would normally step up to help are themselves affected by the fires, smoke, heat, and emergency social service demands. There simply isn't enough capacity left.
We need the Province to coordinate a regional response that supports all communities; First Nations, municipalities, and unincorporated areas alike. Emergencies don't stop at jurisdictional boundaries, and neither should the response.
Please help amplify this message. Tag Minister Jill Dunlop @JillDunlop1 and the Premier @fordnation and share widely.
We need help. We need coordination. We need it NOW.
Pray for Northern Ontario.

Sen. @Ossoff: Who won the 2020 election?
DNI nominee Jay Clayton: I'm not going to do this with you
Ossoff: This is a job interview. You have an obligation to be honest with the committee.
Clayton: I'm not gonna get into that with you
Ossoff: You refuse to answer a basic question about who won a presidential election, but you ask to lead America's intelligence community. Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question? To have to indulge the president's delusions?
The Ohio EPA is drafting a new type of permit the would let Ohio data centers dump millions of gallons of wastewater into rivers and lakes and streams every day.
Trump Accounts are no longer going to be optional- so if you ever plan on having a child in the USA, you should read what I found:
According to the @SocialSecurity Administration's announcement last week, they are modifying the hospital birth registration form so that a Trump Account is AUTOMATICALLY created for your child through that same process.
It will be bundled into the Enumeration at Birth program (EAB), which is the already automated gov pipeline that gives your newborn a Social Security number. It’s one box that you check, you don’t have the option of unbundling it. So if you want your kid to have a Social Security number, they have to have a Trump account.
Which is strange, because according to the IRS and @USTreasury’s public announcements, these accounts only open when a parent actively elects to open one. So which is it? Why is nobody in the government interested in explaining this flagrant contradiction?
Who is going to answer the basic question of what a parent does if they don’t want a government-linked investment account (one that collects biometric data, by the way) created for their child at the exact moment their child’s Social Security number issued?
They can call it a savings account all they want, but a $1,000 deposit is a hell of a cheap price for building a lifelong financial file on every American child before they can consent to anything.
And once the government normalizes linking a person’s identity, financial activity, and predictive systems from birth, who gets to decide what that data will be used to predict later?
We deserve answers immediately. @ndstudio@WhiteHouse
NEW from me: I took a deep dive into the American hedge fund-owned Canadian newspaper chain that’s pushing anti-trans, pro-genocide and climate science denial narratives down our throats.
