Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers Head Coach, on the difference between a coach who wants to be liked and one who actually makes you better.
-Every recruit has people telling them they're great right now. That's not coaching
-The best coaches aren't the ones you like most. They're the ones who make you uncomfortable enough to grow
On podcast with @landonschott@mercyculture today. Had a great time. We all see how God has breathed on his ministry. It’s really special. He’s opening a new campus in DC. So exciting.
But, something that not everyone sees is that no matter where he is, he is always RIGHT THERE: present.
Present at the White House. Ministry? Present. Dinner? Present. Talking to a stranger? Present. Wherever he is, that’s where he is. That’s a gift.
He isn’t just present. He’s also a bold Gospel preacher. Unafraid. Unashamed. Unembarrassed.
God is raising up preachers like Pastor Landon who believes the God is who He says He is and He will do what He said He would do.
That and many other other small things are some of the reasons he’s been blessed on some of the greater things. He’s a great pastor. These are are some of the great reasons.
If you haven’t subscribed to his podcast yet, go ahead and do it @mercyculture on Youtube.
You’ll be blessed. And, I’ll see you on the podcast.
NEW: Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara says even if an investigation proves that the shooting of Alex Pretti was justified, it doesn’t matter because people are mad.
O'Hara: Even if there is an investigation that ultimately proves that at the time of the shooting it was legally justified, I don't think that even matters at this point because there is so much outrage and concern…
Brennan: What do you mean it doesn't matter at this point?
O’Hara: People have had enough.
This is not peaceful protest or freedom of speech, it’s a form of terrorism toward Christians and their families. No one has the right to enter a house of worship and disrupt and threaten worshippers. If you agree, speak up!
NEW: Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon confirms to Benny Johnson the FACE Act was violated and federal charges are coming for those who stormed Cities Church in Minneapolis:
"It's off limits to go into a house of worship to do your little protest. Protests can occur on public property, protests can occur outside ... The only question is, who was involved, how many were involved, and how many charges are going to be brought here? Those are the questions."

🚨 🚨TODAY: MINNESOTA SHEPHERD PROTECTS HIS SHEEP FROM WOLVES.
—Pastor Jonathan Parnell asks former CNN anchor Don Lemon to leave his church.
—Don Lemon says, “Please, don’t push me.” (He wasn’t pushed. He’s just that entitled).
Extremist protesters entered Cities Church TWO DAYS AFTER President Trump issued a Proclamation declaring January 16th Religious Freedom Day.
IMO, it is obvious that the behavior of those who invaded the church, including Don Lemon disrupted the worship service even while Don Lemon seemed to indicate that some would call what was happening “free speech.”
Pastor Jonathan Parnell should be commended for speaking plainly and Biblically to Don Lemon and other extremists who invaded the church service.
And, all pastors and churches everywhere should be mindful of the elevated rhetoric fomenting lawlessness and violence and respond appropriately with security.
These kinds of additional needed measures for churches are a direct result of extremist elected officials encouraging citizens to disrupt and even defy officers of the law, increasing threats to US citizens and officers.
The increased violence is a direct result of a breakdown of law and order in these cities. It cannot persist in a civil society. It is unbecoming of America leaders who shirk their responsibility to protect Americans.
🚨Anti-Ice extremists storm the worship service at Cities Church in Minneapolis this morning alleging one of the church’s lead pastors is an ICE agent.
—There are two visions for America.
One is a vision for freedom, security, commons sense, prosperity.
The other is for chaos, deconstruction of the nuclear family, indecency, disrespect, lawlessness, anti-Christ, desecration, and destruction.
—Tim Walz and Jacob Frey have fomented and encouraged this lawlessness. The failure of the Democrat party to denounce it is agreement.
Let it be seen for what it is.
Dear pro sports leagues: Looking forward to seeing you release statements & send condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family after he was murdered for his political beliefs. You know - kinda like you did when career criminal George Floyd died. @NFL@NBA@WNBA@MLB@NHL
Appreciate the @Yankees for holding a moment of silence tonight.
