Excited to announce my latest publication from #rowmanandlittlefield about museums and anti-oppression strategy implementation. See website for details and to join an online book release party this Friday June 14! https://t.co/5a5NrdqNKM
Unionization doesn't magically fix everything, but it's made a huge difference in the way I feel about my workplace. Thrilled to be in this article with many brilliant colleagues. @PMA_Union@philamuseum
Why do US museum workers want to quit?: https://t.co/r4y9IknREn
@michele_norris It was a wonderful museum, but it wasn’t accessible for people with disabilities. I attended a Disability Conference at which the former Newseum director presented a talk entitled “When the DOJ Comes Calling.” She was very specific about what it would take for them to comply
So proud of @PMA_Union workers, who presented @philamuseum Director, Sasha Suda, with 2,300+ signatures in support of workers at the museum, who have been denied their promised longevity pay. Do better @philamuseum!
As a mobility aid user myself, I’m so grateful for civil rights legislation that makes it possible for so many to continue to lead productive, happy, healthy lives, and as independents as possible. #ThanksToTheADA
Less than a year after a bitter, nearly three-week strike, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and its workers are once again locked in a dispute - this time over a raise that was due to go into effect July 1.
