@Beigerevenge The square was sold to the council in the 1970s, along with most street properties in the area owned by the New River Company. Islington Council refurbished them. Most are flat conversions on four or more floors.

@DachshundColin I went into the sea on holiday in Wales back then. Despite the hot weather the sea was freezing. I'll never forget turning purple with orange spots.
