@ClydeSenpai @Terameterss @PKMN_twt Yeah that’s fair, I think my thing is that Gen 1 and 2 are very straight to the point and because of this makes replays pretty easy/fun to do. I can readjust to old mechanics so that part isn’t a big deal for me personally.

@Terameterss @PKMN_twt Think this is also comparing them to their old 3rd games as well. HGSS is a replacement since it has all the crystal content as well. ORAS is on par because no one can agree if they’re better than Emerald, and FRLG is an obvious upgrade over RGBY.

@AlbarnsDemon Tbf Switch and Set mode are the closest things to difficulty settings outside of BW2. Playing on Set is the Pokémon equivalent to playing on normal mode but most people play on Shift.

@vitu_wasd @PkmnAnon Probably, but Red is still the only one that officially fought an all out Giovanni and won. Even in Gen 7 when you defeat Giovanni he says he wasn’t giving it his all then he just leaves after getting what he came there for.

@PkmnAnon Gen 6 was when a lot of mechanics were changed we got fairy type the new exp share first gimmick I feel like this is the start of modern Pokémon. Even though these games are over 10 years old now there hasn’t been another jump since just more of the same with a crummy open world

@kitsuneredFES I think Zinnia doing background manipulation on Maxie/Archie to get them to awaken their respective legendary is stupid and makes the team leaders look even more incompetent. She almost feels like someone added their OC into Ruby and Sapphire.

@SelflessGiftx @HasanH07290112 @elliedagoat74 You’d be surprised, back in 2014 I finished my copy of Omega Ruby first my friend who was playing along side me asked if the battle frontier was in the game. I said no and he immediately stopped playing and sold his copy.
